A short guide to registering, visiting and getting the most from your care at Medlink.
New patient registration — what to bring
- A valid photo ID (passport, driver's licence or national ID)
- Your insurance card and, if issued, a guarantee letter
- Any referral letter from another clinic or doctor
- A list of medicines you currently take
- Previous lab results, scans or discharge summaries
- For children: immunization card and birth certificate

Your first visit
What to expect, step by step
- 01
Registration
Front desk creates your file and verifies your insurance — about 5 minutes.
- 02
Triage
A nurse records your weight, blood pressure, temperature and reason for visit.
- 03
Consultation
Your doctor examines you, explains the diagnosis and agrees a plan with you.
- 04
Tests & pharmacy
Any lab work is done on site and your prescription is dispensed before you leave.
Patient rights & confidentiality
- To be treated with dignity and respect, without discrimination.
- To have your diagnosis and treatment options explained in language you understand.
- To give or refuse consent for any procedure.
- To have your medical information kept strictly confidential.
- To request a second opinion or a copy of your records.
- To raise a complaint and receive a written response within seven days.
Requesting medical records
- 1. Complete a records request form at reception or email hello@medlinkclinic.lr.
- 2. Attach a copy of your photo ID (or guardian ID for a minor).
- 3. Collect your records within three working days; a small copying fee applies.
- 4. Records are released only to you or someone you authorise in writing.
